Patricia Nnaetuk, RN, MSN, ANP-BC, FNP-BC
Ms. Patricia Nnaetuk graduated from Herbert Lehman College with a Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2001. She then moved to the Albert Einstein Division of Montefiore Medical Center cardiac telemetry unit in 2002, which she still affiliates as a per diem nurse. She earned her master’s degree (MSN) as an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner in 2009 from College of Mount Saint Vincent, and a post-master certificate in Family Health NP in 2012 from Mount Saint Mary College.
Patricia started practicing as an advanced practice nurse in Internal Medicine /Urgent Care at Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to present, she has been working with New York City Health & Hospital Cooperation-Jacobi Medical Center in Outpatient Adult Medicine clinic. Patricia is providing care for patients in primary care and subspecialties areas, such as Anticoagulation clinic, and Asthma clinic. With the current COVID -19 crisis, she has also added telehealth and COVID-19 clinic.
She has been a preceptor to NP students, and a well of resource to new nurse practitioners in her field. She worked with her team on a population-based quality improvement project on lipids, which was accepted by SGIM for presentation in 2016, and abstract published by JGIM the same year.
As one of the founding members of NANNPU, Patricia’s goal is to help build an organization that will positively impact the profession and our society.
